Day 1 | Arrive Hanoi - Transfer only

Upon arrival at Hanoi’s International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative and transferred to your hotel. Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. You will have the rest of the day to unwind after your journey and explore your surroundings at leisure.

Day 2 | Hanoi Full Day Exploring

8:00 AM: Our friendly guide and experienced driver will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter for the Hanoi City Tour Full Day.

– Tran Quoc Pagoda: Visit the Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. This pagoda dates back to the 6th century.

– Ho Chi Minh Complex: Explore the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh Museum, and Ho Chi Minh Stilt on House. Here, you can view the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh and walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969.

– One Pillar Pagoda: Visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a unique pagoda that worships the Goddess of Mercy. It is considered one of the most distinct pagodas in the world.

Note: When visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and One Pillar Pagoda, please dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees.

– Vietnam Ethnology Museum: Explore the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, which offers insights into the cultures of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. This museum is widely recognized as the best in the country and features an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s ethnic minority peoples. Alternatively, we can visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum if the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the famous Vietnamese cuisine, including PHO (Noodle Soup with Beef/Chicken).

– Temple of Literature & Imperial College: Visit the Temple of Literature & Imperial College, the first university in Vietnam established in the 11th century. Originally built as a temple dedicated to Confucius, it served as Vietnam’s premier educational institution. The temple houses stone steles with inscriptions of Vietnam’s best scholars’ names, showcasing the significance of education in Vietnamese society.

– Hoa Lo Prison Museum: Explore the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists for political prisoners during the colonial era and later used by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. American POWs referred to it as the “Hanoi Hilton.”

Return to Hotel: After the tour, our guide and driver will drive you back to your hotel. Our fantastic Hanoi City Tour 1 Day comes to an end.

Day 3 | Full-Day Hoa Lu and Tam Coc Boat Tour - Join group tour

8:00 AM: Start your tour with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Hanoi. Meet your knowledgeable tour guide and board a comfortable coach for the journey to Ninh Binh province. Sit back and relax during the approximately 2.5-hour drive, with a short break along the way.

10:00 AM: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the historic capital of Vietnam. Explore this ancient city and visit the renowned temples of the Dinh and Le Dynasties. Marvel at the impressive architecture and immerse yourself in the rich history of these important landmarks.

12:30 PM: After some time exploring Hoa Lu, proceed to Tam Coc for a delicious lunch. Indulge in a satisfying meal and recharge before the next part of your adventure.

1:30 PM: Embark on an unforgettable boat trip to Tam Coc – Bich Dong, which is part of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cruise along the river and witness the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding karst formations. Marvel at the natural wonders as you glide past their bases and venture into the enchanting water caves carved through the limestone.

3:30 PM: After the boat trip, join a biking excursion through the picturesque rice paddies and countryside area. Enjoy the tranquility and serenity of the rural landscape as you pedal through the scenic paths for approximately 45 minutes.

4:15 PM: Bid farewell to the captivating Ninh Binh province as you board the coach for the return journey to Hanoi.

6:30 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi and be dropped off at your hotel.

DAY 4 | Halong full day tour - Sharing bus of cruise

8:00 AM: Depart from your handscapes of rural Vietnam as you travel towards the coast.

Arrive at the harbotel in Hanoi and embark on a scenic drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enjoy the picturesque lor in Halong Bay and board a traditional junk boat for your day tour.

Settle into the boat and get ready to explore the stunning limestone karsts and emerald waters of Halong Bay.

Cruise through the bay and marvel at the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you.

Visit some of Halong Bay’s famous caves and grottoes, learning about their unique formations and the legends associated with them.

Enjoy a delicious seafood lunch on board the boat, savoring the flavors of the region.

Take part in optional activities such as kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing on the sundeck and taking in the beauty of your surroundings.

In the afternoon, continue your cruise and immerse yourself in the natural wonders of Halong Bay.

Return to the harbor in the late afternoon and disembark from the boat.

Depart for Hanoi, with a stop along the way to stretch your legs and enjoy a refreshing break. Arrive back in Hanoi in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel.

DAY 5 | Hanoi departure

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel at the designated time. They will ensure that you have checked out and assist you with your luggage, making sure everything is properly loaded into the vehicle.

Our driver will then transfer you to Noibai Airport, ensuring a comfortable and timely journey. Along the way, you can enjoy the last glimpses of Hanoi’s vibrant streets and landmarks.
